As the name of this software implies, Docx Converter allows you to convert Word documents to other formats, such as TXT and PDF. The tool can be easily used by individuals of any experience level. The interface of the application is based on a standard window in which you can use the file browser to locate and select documents for processing. Batch conversion is possible. In the list you can check out the name, size and type of each file. So, all you have to do is establish the output destination and format, in order to proceed with the task. Furthermore, you can preview documents in a small area, add PDF security by setting up a password, change the page size and margins (in pixels), select another language for the interface, and others. The document conversion program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file with snapshots, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and preserves a good quality when it comes to shapes, images and the text layout. We haven't come across any technical issues during our tests. Aside from the simplistic interface and lack of the possibility to configure additional settings (e.g. edit PDF metadata), we strongly recommend Docx Converter to all users.
