Nut Chords 32 Description
Nut Chords 32 is a handy and reliable application whose main purpose is to identify chord and scale names for any note. With the aid of your keyboard and mouse, you will point out the notes and the program fetches the afferent chord (and eventually the scale). The included help file will assist you in gaining a minimum know-how in relation to the program’s usage. The application features extensive support for arpeggios, with the possibility to build chord diagrams, as well as to switch between fretboard and keyboard views. The range of chords and tunings embedded in Nut Chords 32 exceed the ones provided by other chord finders. There’s no need to install anything, since everything is packed inside a portable archive. Simply launch the EXE file to start enjoying the perks of the application. The interface is appealing and intuitive, with access to basic chords, scales and tunings that you can switch between seamlessly. However, most of the operations allowed by Nut Chords 32 are tied to mouse or keyboard actions, which are briefly explained in the Readme and Help file. With the mouse, you will be able to place a note anywhere on the dedicated board, at which point the corresponding chord and scale are immediately displayed somewhere in the lower part of the UI. Various keyboard shortcuts (navigate to the help file for detailed explanations) offer access to diagrams, a list of all the chords, filters and inversions, while the return and backspace keys will actually play the selected chord for you. Overall, Nut Chords 32 comes across as a capable application that targets guitar and piano players who can experiment with it endlessly and learn the sound of each chord.
