Tray Service Description
The TrayService application was designed to be a small utility which lets you control Windows services through a small Tray Icon. It allows you to choose whatever service you want to control by showing you a list of all the availabe services on first use. (You can change the controlled service afterwards by using the 'Configure' menu entry). Note: TrayService saves its configuration in a textfile named TrayService.ini. Therefore, you may be running multiple instances controlling different Services. Just create a dedicated folder for each service to control, copy TrayService.exe into each folder and run each instance once to choose the service to be controlled. Although theicons in the tray area will look the same, you can quickly find out which icon controls which service, just move the mouse over an icon, it will display the controlled service' name in the tooltip window. (The service' name can also be found out by looking at the topmost menu-item).
